With the summer months just around the corner, North West bike enthusiasts launched the brand new Harley-Davidson® XR 1200 TM at the Preston-based dealership on Strand Road in the City on 21st and 22nd June.

The XR 1200 is the first Harley-Davidson purposely designed for European roads, and as such will launch exclusively in the UK and Europe last month. Inspired by the legendary Harley-Davidson XR 750 TM flat track racer – a no-nonsense, purpose built race bike that has notched up more wins than any other racing bike in the history of the sport, this bike does not disappoint.

With performance high on the XR 1200’s powerful 1200cc engine, the bikes Showa® sport tuned suspension, inverted front forks and high performance Nissin® brakes all add to the thrill that is the XR 1200’s 90bhp ride. Additionally, the motorcycle’s unique lightweight cast wheels, specifically designed Dunlop® Qualifier tyres and generous lean angle means the XR 1200 is able to master any twisting UK road, bringing together a new level of performance and style taking the iconic motorcycle manufacturer to new heights.

Preston Harley-Davidson held a special open weekend on the 21st and 22nd June for riders to come and experience the XR 1200 first hand, which was well received.
